
When I tell you, making hummus homemade is a game changer. Who doesn’t have a million cans of chic peas at home waiting to be whipped up into a creamy snack!
1/3 c tahini
3 Tbsp cold water
2 T really good quality extra virgin olive oil
1/2 t ground cumin
3/4 t fine sea salt
2 medium garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
juice of 1 lemon
1 15 oz can chickpeas rinsed and drained
optional toppings – more olive oil, olives, pine nuts, parsley, artichokes!
Blend all of the above together and make any adjustments to taste! Enjoy with some delicious pita chips or warm naan.
