Ever since my trip to Bordeaux last March, I have tried to live a more French lifestyle! French Women are just happier and more laid back then us American women! It is really NOT hard to do. French Women’s approach to many things are that of simplicity. I think we tend to overcomplicate many of our daily routines and hey, if there is a chance I can make things easier, then that is exactly what I am going to do!
The Book
As you may have read, when in Bordeaux, we stayed at Les Sources de Caudalie, one of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed in. It was a dream. I had heard of the brand Caudalie, but I had never tried it before. Well let me tell you…one day at the vinospa, and I was hooked.
I highly suggest you read this book by the founder of Caudalie and also the owner of Les Sources de Caudalie and daughter of the owners of the vineyard across the path, Château Smith Haut Lafitte. You should also go there 🙂
The Products
All the Caudalie products are sourced from the previously discarded remnants of the grapes that are used to make wine. Mathilde realized that they were throwing away pure gold and decided to do something about it, so her and her husband created Caudalie. This stuff is really like no other. Winter Skincare Routine | Caudalie Edit
This winter has been mild but for some reason, my skin has still been super dry! To combat that, here is the exact products I use from Caudalie. I feel like I am at the spa every morning and night and my skin has never looked better! Invest in these and you’re investing in a younger, more even looking face…and who doesn’t want that?

They also have amazing sets (can be for gifts or for yourself!) that usually come with a full size of one product and two or three other smaller sizes of other fun products. I always get these over the individual products so I can try something new!
Step 1: Cleanse
MAKE UP REMOVING CLEANSING OIL – this stuff is GOLD. I really never through to use an oil as a cleanser but it literally transforms your skin from the first wash. It removes makeup like I have never seen before and it feels like silk on your face.
